The 15-year-old mare Gotha FRH (Goldfever x Prestige Pilot) has been retired from the sport.

Gotha FRH has had a long and successful career under both Ludger Beerbaum and Henrik von Eckermann, but from here on the mare gets to enjoy the fields full-time.

With Beerbaum in the saddle, Gotha FRH won team gold for Germany at the 2011 European Championships in Madrid and the two also finished second at the 2010 World Cup Final in Geneva. In 2013, von Eckermann claimed team bronze with the mare for Sweden at the 2013 European Championships in Herning and he also competed her at the 2014 World Equestrian Games as well as the 2013 World Cup Final.

In 2014 Gotha and Henrik won the CSI5* Longines Grand Prix of Hong Kong, and they also went to the top in the 2013 Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Estoril as well as the 2012 World Cup in Mechelen.
