After a second place in Friday's CSIO5* Nations Cup in Sopot, Doron Kuipers (NED) took the win in today's 1.60m Grand Prix qualifier against the clock – this time riding Theoreme du Desir (Calvaro x Laudanum).

Aboard the 10-year-old gelding, the Dutch rider set the winning time at 61.30 seconds in this competition counting for the Longines Ranking. Nearly a second behind followed Pål Flam (NOR), another young and talented rider, aboard the 14-year-old Skjerabergs Larkin (Ladiesdream x Centauer Z) while Reed Kessler (USA) rounded off the top three riding Cos I Can (Olympic Lux x Harlequin du Carel) to a time of 63.18 seconds.

The 1.45m Longines Ranking class, also against the clock, saw Kuiper's compatriot Robert Vos on top riding the 17-year-old veteran Carat (Cardento x Krevad). Vos beat Christian Rhomberg (AUT) on the 15-year-old mare Liv Grete (La Zarras x Lord Calando) by nearly a second, while third place went to Lillie Keenan (USA) on Be Gentle (Ticallux Verte x Gentleman).
