At the age of 12, Eric Lamaze's success mare Rosana du Park (Kannan x Ukase) retires from the sport. Rosana du Park joined Lamaze's string of horses at the end of 2012, and the pair went on to have great success together.

On his Facebook page, Lamaze states:

"The time has come to announce the retirement of Rosana du Park, a selle francais mare (Kannan x Quinine de Livoye) owned by Artisan Farms LLC. Rosie joined us during the 2014 season and proved to be a true winner. While she won too many classes to mention them all, my most special memories are our back-to-back wins in the WEF Challenge Cup series at the 2016 Winter Equestrian Festival in Florida as well as scoring three victories during the 2016 Spruce Meadows Summer Series. At the top level of our sport, you need a horse that may not be in the limelight jumping all the big grand prix classes, but one that is extremely competitive in the 1.50m division and always earning world ranking points. Rosie was a specialist at what she did, and I'm lucky to have committed owners who understand the importance of having her in my string. Thank you to Andy and Carlene Ziegler for allowing me to ride this incredible horse. Special thanks also to Eduardo Felix for giving her the best care over the years."
