The home riders were on fire in the CSI4* Grand Prix of Rouen on Sunday afternoon, filling eight of the top ten spots in the 1.60m competition with Patrice Delaveau leading the way on Leontine Ledimar Z HDC (Lovefever II x Grosso Z).
Nine riders out of the 50 in the class produced clears over the first-round track and moved on to the jump-off, where six yet again repeated their clean sheets. Quickest of them all was one of the world's fastest riders, as Delaveau stopped the clock at 37.32 seconds aboard the 10-year-old mare.
Not far behind followed another speed demon; Julien Epaillard on Toupie de La Roque (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) with a time of 37.67 seconds. On 38.00 followed Laurent Goffinet on Quinette du Quesnoy (Helios de La Cour II x Capital), while fourth place went to Adeline Hecart on Pasha du Gue (Dollar Dela Pierre x Darco) and fifth to Margaux Bost on As de Papignies (Kashmir Van Schuttershof x Ahorn Z).
