After a Longines FEI Nations Cup Final that was full of thrills and spills, with only four horse-and-rider combinations managing to clear Sunday's course, Belgium went to the top when Nicola Philippaerts and H&M Harley vd Bisschop delivered the second clean for the team. Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle Niels Bruynseels was one of four riders that delivered a double clear round over Friday and Sunday's competitions, and could share the €100,000 bonus for double-clear performances with team-mate Philippaerts, Sweden’s Peder Fredricson and Italy’s Riccardo Pisani.

Photo (c) Tiffany Van Halle It was the first 1.60m competition and the first Nations Cup together for Peder Fredricson and Catch Me Not S, but that did not seem to be too much of a challenge as the two delivered one of the four double clears.
