After nearly a decade on top of the sport, Glock's London (Nabab de Reve x Chin Chin) will be retired and shift his focus towards his breeding career.
With Gerco Schröder in the saddle, the now 17-year-old stallion won individual and team silver at the 2012 Olympic Games in London and team gold at the 2014 World Championships in Caen. Together, Schröder and Glock’s London can look back at Grand Prix wins from Cannes, Doha, Rio, Salzburg and Vienna as well as Nations Cup victories with the Dutch team.
Glock's London will be officially retired on Sunday 23rd of June ahead of the Nations Cup at CSIO5* Geesteren, the Netherlands.
"He was one of the best horses in the world and won important medals such as the two silver medals at the Olympic Games in London. He really deserves a huge thank you, and I am happy that we will give him the honor at CSIO5* Geesteren. The top sport is over, now his breeding career will start and I'm looking forward to many wonderful foals of this amazing stallion," Gerco Schröder says in a comment on Glock Horse Performance Center's Facebook page.
