Nicola Philippaerts takes over the reins on Camargo. Philippaerts will compete the 11-year-old Canturo-son for the first time at Knokke Hippique this week.

Since 2017, Luciana Diniz has been riding the stallion for breeder and owner Ralf Jünger. Diniz also led Camargo's mother Fit For Fun to numerous successes, such as the overall victory in the Longines Global Champions Tour as well as winning several major Grand Prix classes. Camargo, brought up in the sport by Ralf Jünger himself, has with Diniz in the saddle won the 1.60m Tourmaline Cup at Spruce Meadows in 2018 and also took a 4th place this year in the Global Champions Tour Grand Prix of Shanghai.

While Nicolas father Ludo Philippaerts now holds the sports rights together with friend and sponsor Frans Lens, the breeding rights to Camargo remain with Ralf Jünger.
