Sweden’s Malin Baryard-Johnsson once again pleased the home crowds in Falsterbo when taking her second win of the week with the 11 year-old H&M Second Chance (Carland x White Clover) in the 1.45m ‘Stiftelsen Falsterbo Horse Show Prize’ against the clock.

With her 57,23 seconds, Malin was half a second faster than runner-up Edward Levy (FRA) with Divine de la Roque (For Hero x Kannan) and almost a second faster than third placed Peder Fredricson (SWE) with H&M Kirlo van den Bosrand (Cardento x Utrillo v. Heffinck).

Fourth place went to Olivier Robert (FRA) with Vadrouille d’Avril (Popayann x Quatar de Plape) followed by Chloe Reid (USA) with Sally 643 (Salito x Werther).

A couple of hours later Felix Koller (AUT) took the win in the second 1.45m class of the day – the qualification for Saturday’s derby. Koller rode the 10-year-old Chaciente (Chacco-Blue x Converter 2) to victory ahead of Bart Bles (NED) with Grand Canyon van HD (Cartani x Nabab de Reve), Paul Estermann (SUI) with Babylone des Erables (Chai D x Kashmir van het Schuttershof), Emeric George (FRA) with Atomic Bomb (Iowa x Tresor du Renom) and Steve Guerdat (SUI) with Evita (Canturano x Farmer).
