Jessica Springsteen speeds to the win in the 1.50m Grand Prix qualifier in Falsterbo

Jessica Springsteen (USA) and Volage du Val Henry (Quidam de Revel x Cassini I) went all the way to the top in Thursday’s 1.50m class against the clock in Falsterbo that was the qualifier for Friday’s Longines Grand Prix. 

With 67,69 seconds Springsteen was more than a second faster than runner-up Beat Mändli (SUI) with Vic des Cerisiers (Olympic d’Anguerny x Desir du Chateau). Third place went to Harrie Smolders (NED) with Monaco (Cassini II x Contender) followed by Emilio Bicocchi (ITA) with Evita SG Z (Verdi TN x Codexco) and Dani G Waldman (ISR) with Lizziemary (Cabri d’Elle x Acord II). 

Earlier in the day Malin Baryard-Johnsson (SWE) and her speedy H&M Second Chance (Carland x White Clover) took the victory in the 1.45m class against the clock. France’s Edward Levy (FRA) with Divine de la Roque (For Hero x Kannan) was fast enough for second place while Bles Bart (NED) with Grand Canyon van HD (Cartani x Nabab de Reve) followed in third place. Chloe Reid (USA) with Sally 643 (Salito x Werther) ended fourth and Felix Koller (AUT) with Chaciente (Chacco-Blue x Converter 2) fifth.
