With only six penalties after two rounds in the CSIO5* Nations Cup in Gijon presented by Banco Sabadell, Italy finished on top of the podium. Great Britain finished the two rounds on eight faults to take the runner-up position, with Ellen Whitaker and Arena UK Winston (Waldo Van Dungen x Hamilton Tropics) posting a double clear. The other three on the British team were Joseph Clayton with Carreau Of Greenhill Z (Clintissimo Z x Carentino), Helen Tredwell with Galtur (Cornet’s Stern x Balou du Rouet) and Max Routledge with Balulu (Balou du Rouet x Guidam).

France followed in third with nine penalties ahead of Germany and Ireland – both on 16 faults.
