Luciana Diniz (POR) went all the way to the top in Thursday’s 1.50m Trofeo Oquendo at CSIO5* Gijon, riding Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago*HN x Robin II Z). With her 64.45 seconds, Diniz was over a second faster than runner-up Roberto Turchetto (ITA) with Adare (Royal Bravour x Burggraaf). 

A total of 26 horse-and-rider combinations cleared the course in the class, that counted 79 pairs. Third place went to Pedro Veniss (BRA) with For Felicila (For Pleasure x Espri) and he was followed by Sergio Alvarez Moya (ESP) with Iron Man 111 (Chatman x Capitol I) and Joseph Clayton (GBR) with Baldur 75.
