Belgian rider Pieter Devos and Jade V.Bisschop (Ogano Sitte x Grannus) won Friday's 1.55m Hyundai Cup of the City of Barcelona, the closing competition of the second day of CSIO Barcelona.
The best eleven riders in the first round competed in the second round against the clock for the victory. Devos, with a clear round, was the fastest rider with 52.8 seconds, repeating his last victory in the same competition two years ago. 15 hundredths away from the winner was the Italian rider Emilio Bicocchi riding Evita Sg Z (Verdi TN x Codexco), who took the second place. German rider Christian Ahlmann with Take a Chance On Me Z (Taloubet Z x Aldatus Z) completed the podium.
The Queen’s Cup-Segura Trophy will open the third day of CSIO Barcelona at 2pm on the Olympic arena of the Real Club de Polo, and it will end with the Longines Challenge Cup at 9pm.
