From 31 October to 2 November it is all about the Holtsteiner horse again at the Neumünster Holstenhalls with 47 elite riding horses waiting for a new owner.

Roland Metz is rightly proud to present the first selection for the elite riding horse auction in his capacity as head of auction at the Neumünster Holstenhalls. "I am absolutely thrilled we have been shown so many excellent horses of tremendously high quality. Due to this fortunate position we have been able to draw on plentiful resources and will have a broad and versatile range at Neumünster," the executive manager is pleased to say. He talks about outstanding Holsteiner in terms of quality and type - “true Holsteiners“, just and simple.

47 have made it into the catalogue after having undergone rigorous selection as to quality, health and soundness. Their pedigrees show great variety, even though the most frequent sire is represented by five offspring: Casall. Followed by his sons Casalito, Cascadello, Cassoluet, Connor, Clarcon and Casaltino, some of them sending several auction horses, as well. But the collection comprises many interesting talents, including Cellestial, Calido, Colman, Darco, Kannan, Q-Verdi and Zuccero offspring.

Holsteiners would not be Holsteiners but for their special mare basis. And it goes without saying that the selection also comprises horses with very special maternal relatives again. The offer includes a half sister to vice National Champion DJ (Teike Carstensen), a half brother to licensed stallion Loveless (Thomas Voss) and a three-year-old gelding out of the same dam as Crunch (Rolf-Göran Bengtsson) and Dito (Denis Lynch). The horses by Cormint, who had an above average amount of quality offspring competing at the Warendorf National Championships some weeks ago, certainly deserve mention, as well. “Our offer ranges from unexperienced diamond in the rough with exceptional free jumping ability to a licensed stallion or six- and seven-year-old youngsters with age-appropriate results,“ says executive manager Roland Metz.
