Another prestigious five-star event has been forced to cancel due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Jumping International de Dinard was scheduled for 30 July to 2 August 2020, but has been taken off the calendar by the organisers. 

Danièle Mars, President of the International Jumping of Dinard stated in a press release: “It is obviously a great disappointment for all those involved in this sporting event and for the general public: the City of Dinard, all the partners, the riders, the grooms, the owners, the public who are faithful each year to the performances of the best riders and horses in the world, and of course the whole team invested in the organization of the competition. Although difficult, this decision imposed on us was nevertheless the only possible outcome in the worldwide fight against the virus. The health of everyone is the priority today and we must participate in the collective effort to overcome this pandemic. As an organizer of equestrian event, we want to assure the entire equestrian world of our support in this very difficult period and we remain fully committed to its side. We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 edition, which we promise you will be exceptional!”
