After initially being postponed from January to March 2021 due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the organisers of Partner Pferd Leipzig have today announced the cancellation of the CSI5*-W event. Partner Pferd Leipzig was supposed to host the only remaining World Cup leg in the Western European League for the 2020/2021-season.

A statement from the organisers reads: 

“The last few months we have planned, rallied for and most of all fought – fought for a PARTNER PFERD 2021. Unfortunately, today we have to inform you with a heavy heart that our beloved horse sport event no longer can take place at the planned alternative date in March. This decision was not easy to make. Given the current pandemic situation and the unclear administrative obligations for trade fairs and events, adequate security planning is simply not ensured in the coming months. And your health and safety are still our top priority.”

In 2022, Leipzig will host the FEI World Cup Finals – which are scheduled from 6th to 10th of April.
