USA's Adrienne Sternlicht has acquired the 9-year-old BWP gelding Lafayette van Overis (Kashmir van Schuttershof x Tauber van het Kapelhof). Previously competed by Sofia Westborg (SWE) and Joe Clee (GBR), the gelding has last been seen under the saddle of Ireland's Bertram Allen – and in June and July the pair recorded four- and five-star wins in Grimaud, France.

"He has been a brilliant horse for me, with a lot of great results and super wins," Allen comments to World of Showjumping. "I am delighted to see him go to such a good rider as Adrienne, and hopefully they will be very successful together."

"I’m very excited to welcome Lafayette to my barn," Sternlicht says to World of Showjumping. "I’ve been looking for a ranking class horse for some time and believe he will slot into my group of horses beautifully. I can only hope to build upon the very successful career he’s had with Bertram!"
