As one of Europe’s leading foal auctions, Foal Auction Borculo sets the bar high when it comes to the selection of foals. On the 3rd of June a collection of exclusive jumper and dressage foals and embryos go under the digital auction hammer. Browse the entire collection here. 

Floris van Leuken and Pieter-Jan Berkers selected jumper foals that they have high hopes for. It’s all about sport in the pedigree and prominent sires. The desired Chacco Blue blood can be found in the appealing Rush VDA (ds.Heartbreaker). In the damline we see several 1.40m, 1.50m and 1.60m horses. Comme Il Faut-son Russel (ds.Numero Uno) is one to watch. He has a striking appearance and his granddam Utravola (s.Baloubet du Rouet) has produced multiple 1.60m level horses, such as Carbani (s.Carolus II) of Ali Rahmati and Mr Fuchs (s.Mr Blue) of Marco Kutscher. 

Recently, Grandorado once again made his own advertising by a magnificent debut in the 5* at Indoor Brabant. In Galant van de Reeberg Z, the stallion is paired with the blood of Cicero Z van Paemel and Cash. The same lineage produced Elrado of Rowen van de Mheen and the 1.60m horse Gylord of Jan Setina. Talking about pedigrees that are jam-packed with sports, this collection’s embryos come to mind. Genes of the world’s giants such as Emerald, For Pleasure and Chacco Blue are offered for sale. Available Z is a well-modeled son of the top stallion Aganix du Seigneur. Dam Invisable (s.Up to Date) produced the in 2021 KWPN-appointed stallion Cooper Z (s.Cornet Obolensky). This lineage also brought the 1.40m horse Gigant (s.Up to Date) of Katherina Brama-Walsh. 

Rolex descends from the famous Larnike (s.Ramiro Z) that already produced several international showjumpers. Such as the KWPN-approved stallion Cidane (s.Heartbreaker) and the 1.60m jumper Ralarnike (s.Monaco), Valent (s.Hors la Loi II) and Wirma (s.Hors la Loi II). In Rolex, this unique lineage is combined with the stallion Cornet Obolensky. The pedigree of Roudabout, a son of Eldorado van de Zeshoek TN, revolves all around sport. Roundabout comes out of a damline that is drenched with sports, one of the highlights being the KWPN-approved stallion Ukato (s.Stakkato). Dam Landiama (s.Andiamo) successfully performed at 1.40m level herself. 

The collection is carefully put together and foals must comply with the following criteria set by the selection committee: 

* A pedigree with lots of sport and proven achievements 

* Foals with a good movement mechanism and three solid gaits

* Correct leg positions and selectors have an eye for conformation

* A certified veterinarian checks the foals twice prior to the auction

* For all foals a 180º is available to have a look at the leg positions
