In September 2000, the hammer dropped, closing the sale of Jalis de Riverland at the very prestigious Fence Elite Sales held at the home of Olympic Champion, Marcel Rozier, in Bois-le-Roi. The son of Bleu Blanc Rouge set a new record, fetching an outstanding 3,000,000 francs. Ever since, the "Riverland" affix has been associated with the finest French and European sales. Convinced that after more than 25 years of selection, the "genetic reservoir" and the exceptional bloodlines would attract a discerning clientele, he decided to go all in with the creation of the first edition of EXCLUSIVE RIVERLAND AUCTION.
