Omer Karaevli and Derin Demirsoy’s long-time partner Dadjak Ter Puttenen (Toulon x Vanitas) has passed away, at the age of 18.

Dadjak Ter Puttenen had a long and successful career. With Omer Karaevli, he represented Turkey at the World Equestrian Games in Caen in 2014 as well as at the European Championships in Aachen in 2015 and in Herning in 2013.

Demirsoy took over the reins in 2017, and can look back at many victories with the gelding all the way up to CSI5* 1.55m level - in Al Rayyan, Salzburg, Vejer de la Frontera, Arezzo, Macon Chaintré, Waregem, Beervelde, Zandhoven and St. Tropez to mention some of the venues the pair had success.

On his official Instagram page, Demirsoy writes: “Thank you, our dearest Dadjak, for all that you have given us. You will always have a special place in our hearts. Rest easy my champ. We will miss you deeply”

Our thoughts go out to everyone close to Dadjak Ter Puttenen.
