Press release from Major League Show Jumping

A.I.M. United, a team comprised of American, Israeli, and Mexican riders - all united - lived up to their namesake Friday evening by collectively jumping their way to the top of the Major League Show Jumping podium. Led by pivotal clears in the second round by Ashley Bond (ISR) and Catherine Tyree (USA), the pressure was put on pinch hitter Daniel Bluman (ISR), who was called on as a substitute rider for the team at Angelstone Tournaments in Ontario, Canada.

In the fourth edition of the $200,000 CSI5* MLSJ Team Competition, Bond rode Contefina LVF (9yo AHHA mare by Contefino 2 x South Pacific) and Tyree piloted her grand prix mount BEC Lorenzo (11yo ISH gelding by Livello x Guidam). Bluman clinched the gold medal round on Cachemire de Braize (9yo SF gelding by Quality Touch x Jaguar Mail).

The runners-up were a strong Otomi Warriors team of John Perez Bohm (COL), Daniel Rihan (MEX), and Nicolas Pizarro (MEX), while bronze went to the Lucky Charms' Irish trio of Andrew Bourns, Jordan Coyle, and Shane Sweetnam.

Tune in for more MLSJ action as the $217,000 CSI5* Kubota Grand Prix takes the stage Saturday evening at 8:30pm ET from Angelstone Tournaments.
