Bertram Allen’s 7-year-old gelding Casiano (Casino Berlin x Iroko) has been sold to the US – where he will continue his career with Chandler Meadows and Lauren Hough. With Allen, Casiano finished 4th in the Sparkassen Youngster Cup Final at CHIO Aachen back in September. Before Allen took over the reins, the gelding had lots of good results with Billy Twomey in the saddle. 

“I think he is a star,” Bertram Allen commented to World of Showjumping about Casiano. “I am looking forward to seeing him in the future, and I wish the best of luck to Lauren and Chandler.” 

“We feel lucky to acquire such an exciting horse,” Lauren Hough told World of Showjumping. “My first impression of Casiano was that he does everything with a lot of ease. He has a great temperament and is a horse that my student Chandler Meadows and I look forward to develop for the future.”
