Koen Vereecke (BEL) and the 10-year-old stallion Kasanova de La Pomme (Bamako de Muze x Malito de Reve) took the victory in Sunday's CSI4* 1.55m Hubside Grand Prix in Valence, France.
Nine of the 32 horse-and-rider combinations in the Grand Prix managed to produce a clear round to move on to the jump-off, where Vereecke was the fastest with a time of 35.77 seconds. Nicolas Delmotte (FRA) followed in second place with Ilex VP (Diamant de Semilly x Darco), exactly one second behind Vereecke. Francois Xavier Boudant (FRA) took the third place, riding Brazyl du Mezel (Haloubet de Gorze x Apache d'Adriers) to another clear round in 36.95 seconds. Gudrun Patteet (BEL) and Sea Coast Pebbles Z (Picasso x Flamenco de Semilly) took the fourth place, with a time of 37.24 seconds, while Bruno Garez (FRA) finished fifth in a time of 37.47 aboard United Sunheup (Balougran x Brett Saint Clair).
