Donald Whitaker (GBR) on Veneno (Chacco-Blue x Balou du Rouet) took the runner-up position with a double clear round in 37.54 seconds, while the third spot went to William Funnell (GBR) on Equine America Billy Picador (Billy Mexico x Animo), fourth to Amre Hamcho (SYR) on Lady Pilox (Böckmann's Lord Pezi x Pilot) and fifth to Ramzy Al Duhami (KSA) on Manola LS La Silla (Manzanillo LS x Riscal).
The other CSI5*-W class of the day, also counting for the world ranking, was a 1.45m Longines Speed Class Challenge, and the victory went to Ramzy Al Duhami (KSA) on High Quality J (Quadrillo x Nabab de Reve) after the pair stopped the clock at 57.06 seconds. Jur Vrieling (NED) on Chabada de l'Esques (Quebracho Semilly x Apache d'Adriers) had to settle for the runner-up spot with a time of 57.75 seconds, while Mouda Zeyada (EGY) on Galanthos SHK (Arthos S x Cantos) took the third place after crossing the timers in 58.08. Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) on Vasco (Vivant x Chacco-Blue) placed fourth and Ahmad Saber Hamcho (SYR) on Caldero (Camaro M x Cortez) fifth.
