The British team for the 2022 FEI Jumping World Championship announced

The British Equestrian Federation has announced their jumping team for the ECCO FEI World Championships 2022 in Herning, Denmark, which takes place from 6–14 August this year. 

The team will consist of:

  • Scott Brash on Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham’s Hello Jefferson (Cooper van de Heffink x Irco Mena, breeder Bernard Mols, groom David Honnet)
  • Harry Charles on Ann Thompson and his own Romeo 88 (Contact van de Heffinck x Orlando, breeder Picobello Horses, groom Georgia Ellwood) or Stall Zet’s Casquo Blue (Chacco-Blue x Carthago Z, breeder Gestüt Lewitz)
  • Ben Maher on Charlotte Rossetter, Pamela Wright and his own Explosion W (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet, breeder W. Wijnen, groom Sophie Currie) or Oakingham Stud’s Faltic HB (Baltic VDL x Concorde, breeder H. A. Brinkman)
  • Joseph Stockdale on Joy Cocklin and Laura Stockdale’s Equine America Cacharel (Cachas x Quinar, breeder Bohm Helmut, groom Charlotte Attwell)

Travelling reserve will be John Whitaker on Clare Whitaker and his own Equine America Unick du Francport (Zandor x Helios de la Cour II, breeder Laurent Baillet, groom Kerry Finch). 

Three reserve combinations have also been chosen, listed in alphabetical order: Amy Inglis on Claire Inglis’ Wishes (Guidam x Wellington, breeder Claire Inglis), Jodie Hall McAteer on Mandy Hall’s Salt’n Peppa (Stolzenberg x Escudo 19, breeder Heinrich Zettel) and Ellen Whitaker on Tilly Shaw’s Equine America Spacecake (Stakkatol x Kannan, breeder Gestüt Lewitz).
