Willem Greve (NED) and the 15-year-old stallion Grandorado TN N.O.P. (Eldorado vd Zeshoek x Carolus II) kicked off the 2026-edition of Jumping Amsterdam with a home win in Friday night’s CSI5*-W 1.50m De Telegraaf Prize, a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group C.
In a jump-off of fifteen horse-and-rider combinations, the Dutch duo bested a field of 47, clocking the winning time of 33.29 and leaving the current world number ten, France’s Julien Epaillard and Easy Up de Grandry (Jarnac x For Pleasure) to second, with only 0.22 between them.
Robert Whitaker (GBR) and Vermento (Argento x Skippy) placed third with a time of 34.11, followed by Annelies Vorsselmans (BEL) aboard Trezeguet (Turmalin x Chairman LS La Silla) in fourth in 34.13 and Luciana Diniz (BRA) on Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago x Robin Z) in fifth in 34.67.
The second CSI5*-W class of the day, the 1.45m Stal van der Haar Prize – a competition counting for the Longines Rankings Group D – went to Kevin Staut (FRA) and Hermes de Vesquerie (Vigo d’Arsouilles x Marquis de la Lande). Mario Stevens (GER) and Carrie 22 (Christian x Couleur Rubin) took the runner-up spot, followed by Jodie Hall McAteer (GBR) aboard Kimosa van het Kritrahof (Chatman x Eros Platiere) in third.
