Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano continued his winning streak at the 2023-edition of Al Shira’aa International Horse Show on Friday, when taking the top honours in the CSI4*-W 1.50m Mother of the Nation Diamond Tour aboard Chalou (Chacco-Blue x Baloubet du Rouet). 

Eleven horse-and-rider-combinations cleared their way into the deciding jump-off, where Gaudiano and Chalou were the quickest – stopping the clock on 37.15. With a time of 37.93, Portugal's Duarte Seabra and HHS Washington (Tinaranas Inspector x Cavalier Royale) had to settle for the runner-up position, while Austria's Gerfried Puck and Equitron Melody vd Smidshoeve (Epleaser van'T Heike x Thunder vd Zuuthoeve) placed third in 38.26 seconds. Ireland's Trevor Breen and Highland President (Clinton x Kannan) followed in fourth, and Belgium's Celine Schoonbroodt-de Azevedo in fifth aboard Clinto T Z (Clintissimo Z x Indoctro).
