Italy’s Emanuele Gaudiano and the 10-year-old Nikolaj de Music (Kannan x Nabab de Reve) won Thursday’s CSI4*-W 1.45m Abu Dhabi Sports Council Diamond Tour Grand Prix qualifier at the 2023-edition of Al Shira’aa International Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

With a time of 59.71, Gaudiano took the win in the 1.45m class judged as a Table A, ahead of Mohamed Shafi Mohamed Aremeithi (UAE) and Caramba (Chin Win x Aldato) in runner-up position – separated by 3.38 seconds. Ireland’s Shane Breen and Z7 Ipswich (Carembar de Muze x Quick Star) placed third with a time of 65.39, while Jessica Burke (IRL) and Express Trend (Future Trend x Condios) took the fourth place followed by Abdel Said (BEL) aboard Arpege du Ru (Apache d’Adriers x Quat’sous) in fifth.
