Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano and the 10-year-old stallion Crack Balou (Balou du Reventon x Chacco-Blue) won Saturday's CSI4*-W 1.50m Prix CDG in El Jadida, at the third and last stage of the Morocco Royal Tour 2022.
With a time of 32.49, Gaudiano took the win ahead of Elian Baumann (SUI) on Little Lumpi E (Lordanos x Polydor) with 0.75 seconds separating the two riders. Bart Clarys (BEL) on Geste van de Vihta (VDL Zirocco Blue x Quite Easy) took the third place, while Rene Dittmer (GER) on Corsica X (Connor x Corofino II) finished fourth and Niklaus Schurtenberger (SUI) on C-Steffra (Clarimo x Lavall I) fifth.
"We had to go very fast today, my horse jumped really well and it was not easy to come out on top in this winning round. I hope that it will go as well tomorrow in the Grand Prix," commented the Italian rider after his victory.
