Emanuele Gaudiano and Nikolaj de Music start week three at the Doha Tour 2024 with a win

Italy's Emanuele Gaudiano and Nikolaj de Music (Kannan x Nabab de Reve, bred by Walter Lelie) won Thursday's CSI5* 1.50m – counting for the Longines Ranking Group D – at Al Shaqab in Doha, Qatar, as the third week of the Doha Tour 2024 got underway.

With a time of 56.54, Gaudiano took the win in the first qualifier for Saturday's Grand Prix ahead of Janakabhorn Karunayadhaj (THA) and Maxwin Kinmar Agalux (Aganix du Seigneur Z x Lux Z, bred by Gerrard Marron) in second in 59.53 – topping a field of a total of 15 participants. Simon Delestre (FRA) and I Amelusina R 51 (Dexter R x Chin Chin, bred by Stal Roelofs) placed third in 60.28, while Gerfried Puck (AUT) and Equitron Ornaat V (Ut Majeur de Brecey x Landetto, bred by Leo Vermeiren) finished fourth in 60.36, followed by Abdulrahman Alrajhi (KSA) aboard Ventago (Van Helsing x Hunter's Scendix, bred by Stefan Trentelmann) in fifth in 61.75. 

The CSI5* 1.45m – also counting for Longines Ranking Group D – saw 24 horse-and-rider-combinations line up and the win went to Adbulrahman Alrajhi (KSA) and Iniesta V (Zambesi TN x No Limit, bred by A. van Voskuilen) ahead of Khaled Almobty (KSA) and Diana du Plevau Z (Dieu Merci T&L x Kashmir van'T Schuttershof, bred by Marc Palm) in second and Ibrahim Hani Bisharat (JOR) aboard Harvard (Falaise de Muze x Matterhorn, bred by I.Veninga) in third.
