He has already won the Mercedes German Masters twice – in 1990 und 1991 – and after winning tonight's 1.50m competition in Stuttgart he will get yet another chance: Roger Yves Bost claimed the victory in Prize der Firma in. Stuttgart Veranstaltungsgesellschaft mbH & Co. KG to qualify for Friday night's feature class at the German event.
Runner-up, and also qualified, was Dutch rider Leopold van Asten with VDL Groep Zidane N.O.P. (Heartbreaker x Calando I) one second behind Bosty on Pegase du Murier (Adelfos x Le Tot de Semilly). Third place went to Swiss rider Steve Guerdat riding Big Red (Ludwig von Bayern x Lamoureux I).
Earlier in the day, the 1.45m Prize of Raumpflege AG saw Felix Haßmann and SL Brazonado (Sl Baluarte x Silvestre) on top.
