Marcus Ehning (GER) and the 17-year-old gelding Pret a Tout (Hiram Chambertin HN x Stew Boy) won Saturday's main class at CSI5*-W Leipzig – the 1.50m Championat of Leipzig.

Only eight combinations out of the 45 that started, cleared the first round track and joined the deciding jump-off. With a time of 34.27 seconds in the jump-off, Ehning took home the win ahead of Michael Jung (GER) who had to settle for the runner-up position on the 15-year-old gelding Sportsmann S (Stolzenberg x Calido I).

Switzerland's rising star Bryan Balsiger on the 11-year-old gelding Jenkins Ter Doorn (Numero Uno x Sir Lui) placed third, while the current world number two Steve Guerdat (SUI) on the 13-year-old gelding Tum Play du Jouas (Querlybet Hero x Voltigeur du Bois) took the fourth place. The fifth spot went to Maurice Tebbel (GER) on the 11-year-old stallion Don Diarado (Diarado x Lord Lancer).
