Eiken Sato (JPN) and the 15-year-old gelding Chadellano JRA (Chacco-Blue x Centadel) won Saturday night’s CSI5*-W 1.55m Helsinki Grand Prix at the 2026-edition of Helsinki International Horse Show in the Finnish capital.
Thirteen horse-and-rider combinations from the 35 at start cleared Guilherme Jorge’s first-round track and joined the deciding jump-off, where Sato clocked the winning time of 32.89 seconds.
Kevin Staut (FRA) on Kannonqulan (Kannan x Quantum) had to settle for the runner-up spot with a time of 33.59, while Gianpiero Garofalo (ITA and Querido van’t Ruytershof (Mosito van het Hellehof x Otangelo) placed third in 35.54, followed by Marc Dilasser (FRA) on Make My Day Z du Gevres (Mylord Carthago x Ukato) in fourth in 35.57 and Patrick Stühlmeyer (GER) aboard Conterno-Blue PS (Veyron x Chacco-Blue) in fifth in 36.46.
