Harry Allen (IRL) and the 10-year-old gelding Calculatus (Cachassini X Contello) won Sunday's CSI4*-W 1.55m World Cup Grand Prix – part of the Central European League – in Poznan, Poland.
Crossing the finish line in 38.64 seconds in a jump-off between ten horse-and-rider combinations, Allen secured the win ahead of Hessel Hoekstra (NED) and Comthago VDL (Comme Il Faut x Carthago Z) in second in 39.35. Megan Laseur (NED) and Kwanta Kosta PR (Thunder vd Zuuthoeve x Vermont) completed the podium in third after clocking a time of 41.20 seconds.
However, two pairs were quicker; Thibeau Spits (BEL) and King van Essene (Calido I x Chacco-Blue) clocked a time of 37.66, while Jur Vrieling (NED) and Helwell du Chabus (Elvis Ter Putte x Orlando) finished just behind in 37.68, each with a fence down, leaving them fourth and fifth.
