Sweden's Henrik von Eckermann and Glamour Girl (VDL Zirocco Blue x Caletto I) won Friday's CSI5*-W 1.55m Prize of iWest at the Stuttgart German Masters 2022.
With a time of 66.28 seconds, Von Eckermann – current world no. one – took the win ahead of France's Marc Dilasser and Arioto du Gevres (Diamant de Semilly x Qualisco III) who had to settle for the the runner-up position when the clock stopped on 67.91. Germany's Sophie Hinners and Zypria S (Canturo x Lux Z) placed third, while Belgium's Wilm Vermeir and DM Jacqmotte (Toulon x Indoctro) finished fourth and the Netherland's Harrie Smolders and Bingo du Parc (Mylord Carthago HN x Diamant de Semilly) fifth.
Earlier in the day, the CSI5*-W 1.45m Prize of Raumpflege AG went to Ireland's Jessica Burke and Inpulss (Dallas VDL x Indorado) ahead of Germany's Gerrit Nieberg and Amigo (A Conto Son x For Pleasure) in second place. Spain's Sergio Alvaraz Moya and Halifax W (Plot Blue x Libero H) placed third, while Germany's Jörne Sprehe and Luna (L'Avian x Leader M) took the fourth spot and Ireland's Denis Lynch and Dark Chocolate 48 (Casall x Acodetto 2) the fifth.
