Home win for Khaled Almobty and Diana du Plevau in the CSI4*-W 1.55m FEI Jumping World Cup at Jump Saudi 2025

Khaled Almobty (KSA) and the 10-year-old mare Diana du Plevau (Dieu Merci Van T & L x Kashmir Van't Schuttershof) took a home win in Friday’s CSI4*-W 1.55m FEI Jumping World Cup™ at Jump Saudi 2025 in Riyadh. 

Five of the 17 horse-and-rider combinations at start in this class counting for the Longines Ranking Group A moved on to the second round where Almobty was the fastest when clocking a time of 45.32 seconds – with a double clear. Emanuele Camilli (ITA) and Chacareno PS (Chacco-Blue x Calvaro F.C) finished second, also they double clear, after crossing the timers in 49.22 seconds, while Pilar Cordon (ESP) and Pica Pica Z (Pilgrim x Abeltus Z) completed the podium in third after having a rail down in the jump-off.

Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) and Böckmanns Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann's Lord Pezi x Quattro 7) finished fourth, while Meshari Alharbi (KSA) and Lorenzo ES (Comme Il Faut 5 x Casall) ended fifth.

In Thursday’s CSI4*-W 1.45m class, which served as a qualifier for Friday’s World Cup, David Will (GER) took the top honours aboard XiXo Borgia (Big Star x Sandro Boy). With a time of 63.81 seconds, Will had 0.61 seconds separating him from Roberto Previtali (ITA) on Quirinus 27 (Quality Time TN x Balou du Rouet) and Khaled Almobty (KSA) on Davenport VDL (Diamant de Semilly x Indoctro) who tied in second after both crossed the finish line in 64.42 in this speed class counting for the Longines Ranking Group D.
