Khaled Almobty (KSA) and Davenport VDL (Diamant de Semilly x Indoctro) soared through the Moroccan night in Rabat, winning Saturday's CSIO4*-W 1.50m Prix Maroc Telecom ahead of Ines Joly (FRA) and Pegasus Bandit Savoie (Qlassic Bois Margot x Alcamera) in second and Abdullah Alsharbatly (KSA) aboard Böckmann's Lord Pezi Junior (Böckmann's Lord Pezi x Quattro 7) in third. 

“It's a Grand Prix-level event, so it's a very important win with Davenport VDL, who was making his competitive debut," Almobty – who was the last to qualify for the deciding winning round with eight penalties from round one – said. "With my two rails, I never thought I'd qualify for the second round. By starting first in this decisive round, I had nothing to lose, so I gave it my all and it worked”.
