The 2022-edition of the Morocco Royal Tour has moved on to its third and last venue, El Jadida. On Friday, the action kicked off with a home win for Abdelkebir Ouaddar (MAR) and Istanbull v.h. Ooievaarshof (Casall x Calido I) in the CSI4*-W 1.45m Prix MAPM/SOREC. 

Counting for the Longines Ranking, the 1.45m class was also a Grand Prix qualifier, with 45 horse-and-rider combinations at start. With a time of 61.24, Ouaddar took the win ahead of Jerome Guery (BEL) on Azaria Dinero (Mylord Carthago x Drakkar des Hutins) in runner-up position by more than a second. Francisco Jose Mesquita Musa (BRA) on Catch Me Marathon (Contagio x Werther) took the third place, while fourth went to Simon Delestre (FRA) on Tinka's Hero Z (Tinka's Boy x Caretino) and fifth to Luciana Diniz (BRA) on Vertigo du Desert (Mylord Carthago x Robin Z).
