Christian Ahlmann and Taloubet Z wrapped up a legendary career in a legendary manner when winning their very last competition together, at their favourite venue in Leipzig. All pictures (c) World of Showjumping by Nanna Nieminen.
A love in common: When Taloubet Z went clear in the first round in the Longines FEI World Cup Grand Prix of Leipzig, his former groom Caroline Martin was one of the first ones to celebrate with Elsa Fau, his current groom.

Christian Ahlmann gave a special thanks to Judy-Ann Melchior and the four grooms that during the past ten years have cared for Taloubet Z; Caroline Schwolow, Emma Lindgren, Elsa Fau and Caroline Martin.
"You are and will always remain our hero" Ahlmann said to Taloubet Z in the emotional ceremony.
