Richard Vogel and the 10-year-old stallion United Touch S (Untouched x Lux Z) – that the German rider has been competing for less than three months – outclassed their competitors in the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ of Stuttgart after an incredibly fast jump-off.
After his win, Vogel said that there is always a calculation of how much risks you are willing to take before entering a jump-off and that this was one of those classes where he was willing to risk it all in front of his home crowd, family and friends – and it paid off.
Caracho, that stepped in for United Touch S at the prize giving, started off by trying to eat the decoration, then tried to destroy it, before he got to show that also he can be very fast.
A huge congratulations to Richard Vogel and his team!
