Great Britain's Joseph Stockdale and Ebanking (Etoulon x VDL Sheraton) took Friday's biggest win at the CSI4*-W Al Shira'aa International Horse Show in Abu Dhabi, UAE, when topping the 1.50m presented by Equitrans Logistics – a class counting for Longines Ranking Group C.
With a time of 66.04 seconds in this 1.50m competition against the clock, that counted 80 horse-and-rider-combinations, Stockdale took the win ahead of Ireland's Shane Breen and Scarteen (Cardento x Chellano Z) who had to settle for the runner-up spot with their time of 67.23.
Germany's Christian Ahlmann and Otterongo Alpha Z (Darco x Hedjaz) – Thursday’s winners – placed third after stopping the clock on 67.50, while Belgium's Abdel Said and Arpege du Ru (Apache d'Adriers x Quat'sous) finished fourth almost a second behind Ahlmann, followed by Germany's Robin Naeve aboard Casalia R (Casall x Loran) in fifth.
