The Morocco Royal Tour kicked off this week, with the CSI3* World Cup of the Arab League concluding the first of the tour's three weekends that was staged in Tétouan. The win went to Italy's Juan Carlos Garcia riding Bonzai van de Warande (Nonstop x Feinschnitt v.d.Richter) to a double clear in this 1.60 competition, that saw four of the 35 riders going clear over both rounds.

Garcia had almost two seconds down to runner-up Nadja Peter Steiner from Switzerland on Capuera II (Come On x Baloubet du Rouet) in the second round. Third place went to France's Olivier Robert riding Quenelle du Py (Tresor du Renom AC x Ryon des Anzex), while fourth with the final double clear of the class was another French rider; Fabrice Dumartin.
