Kenneth Cheng (HKG) was on fire at the CSI2* event in Beijing, winning both the Grand Prix qualification as well as the Longines FEI World Cup riding Chaccopia (Chacco Blue x Lauriston).

Four riders produced double clear rounds in the 1.50m competition, that had a total of nine pairs in the jump-off. Cheng ended the shortened course in 47,96 seconds, 1,5 second faster than runner-up Xiakejia Wopa (CHN) with Con Air (Con Air x Baloubet du Rouet). Third place went to Ruiji Liang (CHN) with Discovery Imoo (Carthino Z x Mermus R) and fourth to Rima Da (CHN) with Z Wellie (Celano x Germus R).

Zhiwen (Daniel) Zhao (CHN) had the fastest time in the class, but after four faults he had to settle for the fifth place riding Fancyface (Winningmood van de Arenberg x A Lucky One).
