Kristaps Neretnieks (LAT) won this weekend’s CSI4* FEI World Cup Grand Prix in Abu Dhabi. Together with Moon Ray (Cornet Obolensky x Contender), Neretnieks had the fastest clear round in the jump-off when he stopped the clock at 43.81 seconds. Neretnieks was 2.5 seconds faster than runner-up Abdel Said (EGY) with Venise du Reverdy (Quidam de Revel x Robin II Z).
A total of 28 horse-and-rider combinations competed in the class, with eight of them clearing the first round to qualify for the jump-off. In the jump-off five were clear for a second time.
Third place went to Abdullah Humaid Al Muhairi (UAE) riding Cha Cha Cha 7 (Chacco-Blue x Quick Star), and he was followed by Nadia Abdul Aziz Taryam (UAE) with Cortado (Cassus x Nobre xx) and Mohd Osama El Borai (EGY) riding Quintero (Quasimodo Z x Equador).
