The 1.50 qualification for Sunday's Longines FEI World Cup at Gothenburg Horse Show was a real race against the clock. Several times the crowds thought that they had witnessed the winning round, but when Luca Maria Moneta and Connery (Cordobes II x Polydor) entered the ring at the end of the class they proved everybody wrong. With an outstanding round the Italian rider crossed the finish line three seconds faster than second placed Henrik von Eckermann with Crespo PKZ (Cornet Obolensky).
Nicola Philippaerts and Quenzo de la Roque (Kannan x Jasmin) took the third place ahead of home rider Douglas Lindelöw with Talina (Matterhorn x Heidelberg).
