Luca Maria Moneta (ITA) won Friday's CSI4* Silberpfeil Masters in Salzburg, a 1.50m competition against the clock also counting as a qualifier for Sunday's Grand Prix at the event.
Sixteen out of the 51 riders in the class produced clears over the fifteen-fence track, but it was Moneta and the 16-year-old gelding Connery (Cordobes II x Polydor) that were the fastest with their unbeatable time of 62.11 seconds. Hans-Dieter Dreher (GER) and Tiopepe des Champs (Ogrion des Champs x Echo des Forets II) took the second place, with their time of 64.97 while third place went to home rider Gerfried Puck (AUT) on Bo (Indorado x Quick Star) in 66.37 seconds.
Denis Nielsen (GER) finished fourth, and Damien Haelterman (BEL) fifth.
