The 2026-edition of Jumping International de Bordeaux concluded on Sunday with a Swiss victory in the CSI5*-W 1.60m Audi Grand Prix.
Seven horse-and-rider combinations from the 31 at start cleared the first-round track set by Yann Royant (FRA). First out in the jump-off, Victor Bettendorf (LUX) and the 12-year-old mare Encoire Toi du Linon (Kannan x Desir du Chateau) set the standard when racing through the shortened track in 34.47 seconds – a time those to follow could not match. Martin Fuchs (SUI) and the 15-year-old Conner Jei (Connor x Cosimo), however, found fractions to spare as the last pair out and sliced the leading time, taking the win with a 0.15 second margin to Bettendorf, who had to settle for the runner-up spot in the end.
Michael Jung (GER) and Fischerheros Z (Hotspot x Odermus) completed the podium in third with a time of 35.30, while Cedric Hurel (FRA) and Fantasio Floreval Z (Florian de la Vie x Clinton) – who were the title defenders after topping the Audi Grand Prix in 2025 – finished fourth in 36.25 and Camilla Conde Ferreira (FRA) aboard Bassano de Nantuel (Baloubet du Rouet x Calypso d’Herbiers) fifth in 37.10.
CSI5*-W 1.50m Prix Ici Gironde to Francois Xavier Boudant and Fee de Riverland
Earlier during the day, Francois Xavier Boudant (FRA) and the 11-year-old mare Fee de Riverland (Kannan x Chapman Rouge) won the CSI5*-W 1.50m Prix Ici Gironde ahead of Denis Lynch (IRL) and Katja (Etoulon x Otangelo) in second and Julien Gonin (FRA) aboard Flam de la Chatelaine (L’Arc de Triomphe Bois Margot x Galoubet A) in third.
