France's Patrice Delaveau and Carinjo HDC (Cascavelle x Landgraf I) continued their winning streak today, taking the Rikstoto Grand Prix at CSI5*-W Kingsland Oslo Horse Show. The pair has already recorded some major wins this season - more recently in Brussels and Los Angeles, and continued their top form on Saturday at the Norwegian event.
The duo was one of of thirteen moving on to the jump-off, and went off winning with time of 39.21 seconds. Runners-up were Australia's Edwina Tops-Alexander and Heidi du Ruisseau Z (Heartbreaker x Darco) stopping the clock at 40.99 seconds. In third followed Great Britain's Jessica Mendoza on Spirit T (Tornado x Carnaval Drum), while Dutch rider Leopold van Asten claimed fourth on VDL Groep Quinthago Z (Quinar Z x Carthago Z) and Spain's Eduardo Alvarez Aznar fifth on Rokfeller de Pleville Bois Margot (L'arc de Triomphe) - all clear in the jump-off.
Eduardo Alvarez Aznar claimed the top prize in the 1.45 class earlier in the day, riding Ryanair de Riverland (Quick Star x Papillon Rouge).
