Under the Honorary Presidency of HH Sheikha Fatima Bint Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Al Shira’aa International Horse Show returns for its 9th edition this week, with a relocation to Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Day two in Abu Dhabi concluded with the CSI4*-W 1.45m presented by AS Auctions, where Shady Ghrayeb (SYR) and the 14-year-old gelding Cabernet du Mars (Baloubet du Rouet x Dollar Dela Pierre) pipped Ireland’s Michael Pender and HHS Orchidee (Le Roi x Luidam) into second place, with 0.04 seconds separating the two.
Constant van Paesschen (BEL) with Kannavara Z (Kannan x Contender) rounded out the podium, placing third with a time of 35.82, while Rodrigo Giesteira Almeida (POR) on Comme le Coeur (Comme Il Faut x Heartbreaker) followed in fourth in 36.27 and Maximilian Lill (GER) aboard Casallco’s George PS (Casallco x Chacco-Blue) in fifth with a time of 36.70.
