This week, the Longines FEI Jumping World Cup™ Western European League moves on from Lyon (FRA) to Verona (ITA) for its fourth stop of the 2022/2023-season.
On the list of riders are some of the best in the world, such as Henrik von Eckermann (SWE), Steve Guerdat (SUI), Harrie Smolders (NED), Daniel Deusser (GER), Marcus Ehning (GER), John Whitaker (GBR), Kevin Staut (FRA), Marlon Modolo Zanotelli (BRA) and Nicola Philippaerts (BEL). The host nation also sends some of their best to Verona, with Piergiorgio Bucci, Lorenzo De Luca and Emanuele Gaudiano among the Italians on the entry list.
The 2022/2023 Western European League season will be a busy one, with fourteen CSI5*-W fixtures in eleven countries between October 2022 and the end of February 2023. With the seven best results counting for each rider, the top eighteen will qualify for the final in Omaha, USA, in April.
