Sean Lynch: Hello from the other side!

CSI5* Longines Masters of Hong Kong 2016

(c) Sean Lynch Blog Hong Kong

So I'm back!

Literally I don't even no what time zone I'm on!!

So when you think of horse shows, you don't think Madonna will be playing in the same hall just the other side for two nights in a row… Well she is! Pretty cool, right!

Here it is different to any European show; first of all everyone has to fly here – we don't just jump in the truck and away we go... For the grooms that didn't fly with the horses they were pretty lucky, they flew two days before the horses did so they had a little vacation! It's pretty quiet here at the minute, not so many riders. As of now the more I ride, the less I ache the next day! Watch out Deusser, I'm becoming a pro!!

As many of you know most of us grooms love a Starbucks, and lucky for us there is one in the airport which is where our hotel is – yes, that's right we are at terminal two of Hong Kong international airport! Hotel is great but as many of you know, I'm not much of a fitness man walking 12-15 minutes two times a day isn't so fun!

I'm now part of a very fun group called 3011. It's basically a hotel room with a window and a balcony; it's we're all the cool kids hang out! We even have a little group message so we know what everyone is doing! Well, I think it's cool anyway! And a few of the members took me to the market the other day! Sean in another country with my bank card; that never works out good – remember that one time in LA? So, I will be eating bread and butter for the rest of the month!

Today was vet check and that has been about it. Well – that, some food, a nap and a little Greys’ (I have become addicted to the series). It's warm-up tonight which starts at 6.45pm so as I had a few minutes free I thought I would start off the crazy blog for the rest of the week!

And, finally happy birthday to Nanna!!!!
